Dr. Tilton has extensive experience caring for and working with highly specialized teams throughout his military career. Not only was he a Division I collegiate athlete, but he also served with distinction in the US Army as a General Medical Officer and then as a board-certified and residency-trained Radiologist.
Dr. Tilton completed medical school at the Uniform Services University of Health Sciences and his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center. After completing residency, he served at multiple levels of leadership while assigned to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, culminating in his selection as the Chief of Radiology from June 2011 to 2013.
Never one to rest on his laurels, Dr. Tilton was then selected for an interventional radiology fellowship and became the Chief of Interventional Radiology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center before retiring from the military in July 2020.
